Milacron Creates Global Supply Chain and Sourcing Organization

Milacron LLC, a Cincinnati, OH-based global plastics manufacturer, has hired Mark Dixon as vice president of Global Supply Chain and Sourcing. With the hiring of Dixon, who brings more than 20 years of experience, Milacron is creating a VP-level supply chain and sourcing position to align the companys diverse sourcing teams into an integrated strategic supply chain and sourcing organization.
Dixons goal will be to further strengthen Milacrons competitive position by enhancing the companys ability to equip customers with the industrys most advanced technologies, high-quality products and improved lead-times, as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. He will be located at the companys Afton, OH, manufacturing facility and will report directly to Milacron CEO Tom Goeke.
Prior to joining Milacron, Dixon was responsible for global strategic sourcing and supply chain at Cooper Industries. He has also worked at Dana Holdings and Ford Motor Company UK. Dixon has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kings College in London.
