ASACLEAN Introduces Chemical Purging Compounds
The N Series of heat-activated chemical purging compounds gets its name from ASACLEAN’s recent acquisition of the Novachem company.
A new line of chemical purging compounds from ASACLEAN, Parsippany, New Jersey, complements the company’s existing set of mechanical compounds.
Deriving its name from the acquisition of the Novachem company, the N Series of heat-activated chemical purging compounds are ideal in a wide range of plastics manufacturing applications, including injection molding, extrusion, blow molding and extrusion blown film.
Chemical purging compounds feature a rapid foaming action when activated by heat, which allows chemical compounds to scour difficult-to-access nooks and crannies in machines where thorough purges between runs are necessary. Another advantage is its particle size: in its melted state, N Series chemical purges are sub-micron, making for quick, easy displacement with a supplementary carrier resin.
